Four official-source locations

Dashi Doraku's current directory lists two locations in our Osaka set and two in Kyoto. They are at Keihan Kyobashi Station, JR Yao Station, Kyoto's Kiyamachi area and north of Umekoji Park. These are ordinary working locations rather than staged attractions, which is part of their appeal but also requires considerate access.

Osaka: Kyobashi and JR Yao

The Kyobashi machine is listed outside the Katamachi exit beside an escalator entrance, making it the most transit-oriented Osaka option. The JR Yao listing is at a bicycle parking area and suits a suburban route. Avoid commuter peaks and never block station or bicycle circulation for photographs.

Kyoto: Kiyamachi and Umekoji

In Kyoto, the Kiyamachi listing fits a central evening or shopping route, while the Umekoji location pairs with the park and railway-museum area. The official directory notes that the Umekoji machine was moved near the parking payment unit. Use the latest map and location notes rather than an older photo.

Plan a stop without wasting a travel day

Choose the location already closest to your itinerary. Crossing from Kyoto to suburban Osaka solely for a condiment machine is rarely a good use of a short trip. Each spot card below provides a map and transit note so travelers can evaluate the detour before leaving.

Product and dietary checks

The bottles contain concentrated cooking stock and may include fish ingredients. Read current labels for allergens, dilution directions and storage requirements, and check destination customs rules before taking food abroad. The live machine controls price, payment and stock.
